Crisp, white glassine bags are so simple and stylish. Originally used to preserve photographs, stamps, specimins of insects etc. There is something nostalgic and vintage about them. I love the way that their contents show through the foggy waxy paper making anything you put in them look elegant and lovely.
These useful envelope style bags are also grease and moisture resistant making them a perfect container for nuts, baked goods, chocolates, gourmet candies and soaps. They are simply the perfect gift and favor container!
Here are some ideas I have taken from Pinterest for ways to use these fabulous bags:
You can print on Glassine bags, either pop them through an ink jet printer on the right size setting or use rubber stamps.
Fill with confetti and then zig zag them closed with a sewing machine. This way you can ensure your guests use the confetti that you want!
These would make bright and quirky invites or save the date cards.
Add some Washi Tape - Voila!
They make ideal food treat bags, I love the scalloped cut edges on the cherry bags!
Using a little Washi Tape and tags to match your bags with your party theme or colour palette
Thank you for looking, I hope we gave you some ideas!
