I have been meaning to post the photo's of my eldest daughters Glamping Party for months and have finally on the first day of Autumn got around to it!
In late spring on a rather damp weekend we celebrated my daughter Bea's Ninth Birthday, it was a laid back celebration with a gang of her friends in our back garden. We used a beautiful bell tent to provide some shelter from the weather and spent the afternoon making fairy cakes and creating pretty floral arrangements for the girls to take home for their Mothers. Luckily the weather was kind and the rain stayed away and the girls enjoyed lots of sweet treats and plenty of girly chat in the sunshine.
Of course no garden party can be complete without Strawberries and Cream!
We made these little party bags for the girls to carry their cupcakes home and decorated them in the same floral fabric as the cake and the lunch pails. You can find out how to make the party bag pots here.
Hay Bales made the perfect seats for the girls to lounge on and enjoy their lunch from their pails, whats more the bales came in useful for the whole of the summer as extra garden seating for BBQ's and get-togethers.
