My youngest turned three this month and as usual there was a lot a buzz in our house about what kind of birthday party he might have. For little-ones parties I tend to keep traditional and invite a few of their friends and their friends Mummy's for tea. Our funny little chap has a love of the colour yellow so we decided to create a sunny, happy, cheerful, late summer tea party.
Some Highlights include:
- 'Happy' garland created using the same bags as the treat bags
- Basic crepe paper streamers used as table runners
- Crepe paper streamer cut into a scallop shape for the cake ribbon
- Paper tablecloth with a simple hand cut scallop edging
- Paper plates used as wall decor and embellished with letter stickers
- Balloon pinatas made by filling 36" balloons with confetti and treats
