I love party tassels and I absolutely love a party Hack! Here is an easy-peasy tassel hack using left over paper napkins to make cute lightweight tassels perfect to attach to balloons.
All you need are:
- Paper Napkins
- Scissors
- Thin ribbon or thread
(I have used beverage napkins to make mini tassels but follow the same principle with larger napkins for larger tassels)
Open up your napkin and then cut it in half down the middle. Each napkin will make two tassels.
Fold each half of napkin and cut 0.5cm strips towards the fold. leaving about 1.5cm at the folded end.
Open up the napkin.
Roll up the napkin along the middle fold and then twist the middle tightly.
Tie your tassel with a length of ribbon or thread.
