Simple, Easy and Inexpensive Balloon Weights Tutorial

Forgot to buy balloons weights! Don't panic! Use a few spare balloons as weights, they look cute and make adorable little balloon weights. These are particularly great to use as weights for big 36" Balloons.

Easy Balloon Weight Tutorial

These balloon Weights are so simple to make and do the job whilst looking super-cute. Simply hold the balloon tightly over a slowly running tap, fill the balloon with some water (see the weights of water required below) and tie tightly.

To hold 11" Helium Balloons  - Use 5" or 11" Balloons as weights filled with 10g-50g of water

To hold 16" - 24" Balloons - Use 11" Balloons as weights filled with 120g of water

To hold 24"-36" Balloons - Use 2 x 11" Balloons (one inside the other) filled with 180g of water

If you use high quality balloons they are extremely difficult to burst but if you wish to be absolutely sure they don't then double them up by putting one balloon inside the other!
