Spring and Easter Party Inspiration UK

Create a Pretty and Colourful Springtime Party

Easter is hands down my favourite holiday celebration. I love everything about Easter very first daffodil to the last of the chocolate eggs. It is very easy to throw a charming Easter or spring themed party and you can really let loose with the pastel shades and cute accessories. Last week we threw a surprise after school Easter Tea Party for our own bunch of little bunnies, here is how it turned out:

How this party was created:

DIY's and points of interest:

Pastel Dipped Cone Decoration: I used White Paper Cones to create this decoration that can be used above a table or as a backdrop. Each cone was dipped in paint and left to dry before stringing them together in lengths and taping each length to the ceiling or wall.

Pastel Dipped Wooden Cutlery: Our Wooden Cutlery has had it's end's dipped in paint and left to dry.

Pots of Primroses: I bought a tray of bedding plants already in flower and potted each plant into our White Soup Containers. these also make lovely gifts following the party.

The Decorations:

Cute little White Bunnies on Sticks adorned our pansies.

We used Coloured Egg Boxes as an alternative to party bags.

Crepe Paper Streamers were laid attached to a Big White Balloon.

A selection of Latex Balloons in pastel shades were grouped in a bouquet and attached to each chair.

We spelled out 'HOP' with our Silver 16" Balloons that don't need helium.

Raffia was used to decorate the table and added to baskets and bowls as hay.

On The Tables:

White Paper Tablecloth and a mixture of Yellow and Mint and Dusty Pink paper plates combined with cups and napkins from the same range was formed the basis of our tableware.

We used our gorgeous Palm Leaf Bowls as serving dishes and the final touch was Lemon Striped Paper Straws for the drinks.
