Ten Balloon Decorating Ideas Without Helium

10 Balloon Decor Ideas Without Helium

Personally, I adore helium-filled balloons. There’s something magical about the way they float effortlessly in the air. Children are captivated by them, and even as an adult, I find them enchanting. But while helium balloons are beautiful, they have their downsides. Helium is not only costly but also in limited supply globally. Plus, latex helium balloons have a very short float time—they often need to be filled on the day of the event and might only stay afloat for around 12 hours.

The good news? Balloons don’t need helium to make a statement! With a bit of creativity, you can create show-stopping décor using just air-filled balloons. They’re inexpensive, long-lasting (sometimes weeks!), and versatile. Here are some of the best ways to decorate with balloons at your next party whilst saving ££s on helium:

1. Suspending Balloons From Ceiling

Hanging balloons from the ceiling can add height to your party décor without the hassle of helium. Use fishing line and command hooks to hang balloons from the ceiling, Attach ribbons, streamers, or tassels to add interest or keep it minimal, your choice!
