What is bagasse? This disposable tableware is made from sugar bagasse – the fibers left behind when sugar syrup is extracted from sugar cane. Instead of polluting the air by burning the sugar cane by-product, the fibers go through a process of heating, pulping and then pressurised moulding. Because sugar cane re-grows easily, it’s a great renewable resource and helps us conserve resources. Bagasse also has a lower carbon footprint than conventional materials, thanks to the carbon-absorbing sugar cane. After use, the plate can be collected with your food waste and taken for composting.

The Bagasse plates were excellent. solid enough to cut meat and eat off, and knowing they were biodegradable and made from recycled sugar can was a big plus.

Time

These don't come assembled so allow yourself enough time for folding the foil into strips and attaching with bands. Looked lovely on the fireplace (not lit!)

Order enough

This only filled 2 numbers and two 16in orbs so definitely order more than you need and note it gets expensive!!! Do a design that allows you to use air and hang upside down and save helium for where you really need it.

Just what I needed

Guess what- it was perfect for a hen party! Top quality.

Beautiful!

Took forever to blow up but worth it! Only needed them for 2 nights but a week later they're still alive. :)

Easy to use

I was nervous about using this but having watched the video it was very easy and the helium filled balloons were great and stayed up well.
