Great Looking Balloons

These balloons look amazing when blown up, I took advise from another review and blew up the legs myself and used helium for the body, worked an absolute treat. Only thing to consider is the cost of getting them inflated if you don’t have helium yourself, I went to the Post Office and got 2 of these inflated for £17. Worth it mind you!

Very impressive - but careful when inflating the legs

This looks amazing when inflated - a really striking, elegant design and 5ft tall. Bear in mind the body and legs are two separate balloons. My advice is to inflate the body with helium, but blow air into the legs. The problem with the consumer-grade helium cannisters is that it's tricky to get a low, steady flow out of them...the helium tends to gush out, meaning it's easy to burst the legs on the flamingo (as I did, meaning some patchwork repair). In hindsight I would have inserted a drinking straw through the seal in the legs and blown up this small volume with my mouth. No such problem with the body of the flamingo and the large volume of helium is plenty to keep the flamingo floating. Two weeks later it's still standing proud!
